I will post any site updates, fixes and changes here.
I am now adding music to the station. If you have been listening at all, you will notice that the same songs or bands play way more often than before. I am only maybe a tenth of the way into my music so it will take some time. I finished the 0-9, A's and B's. I also added the Compilation albums. I will start the C's next week. Hoping to get the Shop done this weekend.
My vision, as far as the music we will be playing, is to feature music that glorifies God. Now, I am not saying that every song has to say so Jesus every second but the song has to NOT oppose a sound Biblical worldview or doctrine. I don't even mind cover songs as long as they do not oppose our values, morals and faith.
I know that Christian rock is a niche genre and that mainly Christians will listen to this station. So my goal is to be a source of edification for my fellow believing brothers and sisters but to also be Gospel oriented. As Christians, we need a constant reminder of the Gospel. Martin Luther said, "We need to hear the Gospel everyday, because we forget it everyday."
Previously, I never considered the stations a ministry... just a hobby. But after shutting them down and hearing our listener's comments, I realized that this truly is a ministry. I am taking that serious and am going to do my best to use the talents and experiences that God has blessed me with to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ to endure and to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ...

This is taking a lot longer than I had anticipated. I was hoping to be further along in adding music but I am taking my time. I don't want to just start throwing music on there and then regret it later. I am listening to the songs to see if they fit in to what I envision the sound of the station to be. I am in the letter D. I got part way through them yesterday and hope to finish them and get into the E's but like I said, I am taking my time. I really hope to have this all done and ready by March but I truly believe it won't be until closer to April.
Take your time and keep doing it right Tom. It'd mean a whole lot more if you do!

I have finally gotten a little ahead on adding music. I have a set date on when to have it all added so that I can get the rest of the site ready for launch day. I am finding myself having top exclude a lot of great music mostly based on poor or subpar production. But overall, I am very pleased with how the station is sounding. As of this post, I have nearly six thousand songs and am starting in the letter N... I want to have all of the music, except the new stuff, added by March 13th. That gives me two weeks to get everything else ready. I truly appreciate your feedback. I am getting excited as I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks everyone!!!
Some advice, please refrain from placing one band under two letters, example The Showdown under "S" and again under "T"! Pick one!
Ah, that is actually only with any band that has "The" in their name. It is a Search criteria actually recommended when creating a Search feature... lol.
Ok, I guess that makes sense, I just noticed The Migraines are in there twice also, another cute thing bands on there twice with different versions of their name, JPT & justpassingthru! Glad they are there in either version, saw them back in the "90's" when they were just starting out and really liked them, then like so many other kool groups just faded away! Glad you are bringing them back to life!
yeah, JPT and justpassingthrough are the same band but aren't.... I have a few bands like that.
