I love the classics. My wife and I have the Nintendo Switch and I have games like the Atari 2600 Collection, The Sega Genesis Collection, Dragon's Lair Trilogy, Pacman, Missile Command, Space Invaders... just to name a few.
We had two of our grandsons over for the weekend, ages 10 and 9, and we got them hooked on Guitar Hero on our Nintendo Wii LOL... it was a blast.
Sending them back to the parents with a newly acquired taste for the vintage!
Haha... yeah.
My kids were really into video games for awhile, but my first brush with them was "Space Invaders" back in the '70s in the bars! It was a pretty big deal, almost every bar had them.
Space Invaders and Asteroids were always my favorites. Wow, that brings back some memories.
Oh, I forgot about Asteroids... Also, Centipede was a blast too.
Oh yeah, Centipede was awesome.
I also really enjoy Defender, Golden Axe, Street Fighter, Gauntlet, just to name a few more LOL...
I just purchased Super Pacman on our Switch... Hoping to play some tonight...
That's a game that seems to rapidly increase in difficulty for me. And yet its still fun to play lol
We bought the Pacman Museum game for the Switch and we have been playing that, Sonic The Hedgehog (The original Sega game) and we have been playing the Guitar Hero games on our PS3.
So we got a PS5 and what games do you think I buy... Centipede, Asteroids, Q*Bert, and Breakout. LOL.
Certainly can't beat the originality!
lol... I am a retro nerd I guess.
