Virtue & Vice

Southern-raised hard rockers, My Heart Remains, are a band making a bold statement with their gritty sound and blunt message, a combination sure to turn a few heads. Their upcoming full length album, 'Virtue & Vice', is a vivid look at both sides of success. The direction for the new record came from a writing session with Josh Brown (Full Devil Jacket/Day of Fire/A New Rebel) when he asked: 'What makes you angry?' The answer to that question can be found in most of the songs from Virtue & Vice. My Heart Remains' sound is very much cut from the frayed cloth of all the hard rock giants, both past and present. You can expect to hear glimpses of their influences (Black Stone Cherry, Seether, Alter Bridge, Daughtry, and 7eventh Time Down) all throughout their music. Virtue & Vice is being produced and engineered by Mikey Howard (7eventh Time Down) and his Mutt Lange style of producing has helped add the pop sensibility needed to put the band over the top. Most importantly though, My Heart Remains', hopes that their honest message will stomp on the toes of the comfortable and reach the people of this world that have been judged and ignored for too long, with the hope and truth of Jesus Christ.
