The thing I love about the band ApologetiX is that when they reuse music from the past by adding new lyrics, they always do it so perfectly! The music barrowed from Led Zeppelin's "Ramble On" is so spot on!

After VBS this summer we discussed at the Chapel the idea of starting a youth group that would meet once a month on the second Sunday of each month and would be for kindergarden through eight grade. The theme would be a continuation of the one used for VBS and would follow the same schedule starting at 4pm to 6pm with an opening of the bible verse and singing then off to the classroom for the lesson, followed by a snack, then a craft, a game and the closing with a review of the lesson and bible verse, singing and prayer. We had a good turnout of kids from VBS at our first meeting in October and tonight we had another nice group of kids. I was helping the snack lady who is my sister-in-law and my neice with the crafts. I enjoy interacting with the kids along with the singing of songs! Some of the parents of the kids were actually kids that grew up in the Chapel and I knew them as teens.

Just heard this for the first time today, I must say I was kinda smitten with the sound!     

Heavenly Father, we come before You, humbling our hearts and seeking Your mercy for our nation. While we seek to vote wisely, we know that no earthly leader, party, or system can bring about the deep transformation we so desperately need. True spiritual awakening only comes from You. Do a deep and lasting work in our homes, churches, and communities. Let our hearts burn for Your Word and our lives reflect Your love and Truth. May we obey the calling You have given us: to be salt and light to a lost and broken world. May we be a people set apart. And may our nation turn back to You in repentance and worship. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Hope you have some new stuff to throw in!     

I have "The Nature of the Beast" and from the sound of this song I think it would be another kool album!

Morning is God's way of saying one more time, go make a difference, touch a heart, encourage a mind, inspire a soul and enjoy the day.


       

Jesus was not an American. He was not White, Black, Asian or Hispanic. Neither was He a Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist or Catholic. He was and is the Son of God. He will never fit into an American, nor a religious mold. The sooner we try to be like Him and stop trying to make Him be like us, the sooner we will see His purpose fulfilled in the world that He died for.
