Come to joyous celebrations at full moon, new moon and all the other holidays. 4)For God has given us these times of joy: they are scheduled in the laws of Israel. 5)He gave them as reminders of his war against Egypt where we were slaves on foreign soil.

One of the things I like about Biblical scripture is when it mentions musical instruments and that we should sing to the Lord! There is also some mention of dancing as David did, these are things that draw me in. As a little kid I enjoyed singing and dancing, what better way to show God and Jesus love and graditude!

Yes. My wife sings in the choir in our traditional service and then sings with our contemporary worship team. She is amazing and I have to admit I'm just a tad bit envious. I can't sing a lick. 😩

We used to have a really good group of musicians that accompanied the congregation as we sang on Sundays, but we lost a husband and wife to COVID, the younger ones have gone off to college and others joined the Army or the Navy, some have married and moved away. One of the best drummers was the adopted daughter of one of the instructors of Body&Soul, she joined the Navy and she's learning all about submarines and helicopters! Oh how I miss those pre-COVID days!
