So, I have been going through my music again to see if there are more albums/artists/songs that I can add to our already huge song list. I am trying to loosen up a bit on what I am adding, not meaning on truth of the message. If I find that bands or albums oppose the message, I will remove them. I have removed several bands since starting the station back up, due to their views that oppose the truth of God's Word. Also, not all of the albums or bands I am adding are blatant Christian bands. I do not have a problem adding albums/bands that have Christians in them and their message or lyrics are not evangelical. As long as they do not oppose truth or promote ungodly living or thinking. Please give me your thoughts on this. I have been thinking about it for some time now. I know that music is not going to save us. It may encourage us, lift us up or just entertain us. I do not want to promote any band or album that promotes heresy, false teaching or flat out deception. I hope you enjoy the additions and if you hear or know of any of the bands or albums we play promoting any heresy or ungodly living, please reach out to me. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and Christ Jesus.

I have no problem with your method of picking music that should be played on DEADtoself, I have gotten rid of many of the artists in my collection for that very reason. I'm really liking the music you have added, alot of it I had never heard before, but find myself adding them to my music. Would we be able to suggest artists that might fit? 🤔  E|  <3  8X

Of course Catie... would love to see what you suggest.

Please pray for me all as I do truly want to please our God and Father in everything that I do. I want D2S to be an outlet for encouraging music, dialogue and everything else. I know that I cannot possibly catch every band, album or song that opposes truth. I know the the station is going to attract mainly, if not only, Christians. I want the station to be a trustworthy and faithful source of encouraging music and entertainment. I am working on adding more pages and broadcasting that focuses on Scripture. Thanks to you all for your continued love, prayers and support. You are the DEADest!

So I have added quite a bit of new music already and I have a lot more to go through. Hope you are enjoying the new tunage. If I don't add a band it is mainly because of doctrinal issues, sound quality or just not good music.

A Christian mentor of mine once told me this of Kingdom living:

If you were baking a cake and then added just a little pinch of dog poop. Not enough to taste or smell or see. Would you eat it?
This reminds me of what you are describing when you are going through the process of getting music for the station. Keeping the dog poop out brother! Thank you so very much for all your hard work.

Nice parable! I'll have to add that to my repertoire!
