A Christmas Gift Volume 2: Stocking Stuffers
Album Info
Released in December of 2019 as a "Keaggy's Garage release on Bandcamp", this is the second of his "A Christmas Gift" volumes. It features some demos, live tracks and unreleased songs.
"Opening song (Snowed In With You) is a tune I wrote with friends Tim Miner and Tom Yankton-both amazing writers! Another little gem is (Snowman) which is a poem written by my sweet niece Mary Ellen Smith--she's a very talented artist and a great mom! Here's also an alternate version of Coventry Carol I recorded many Christmas's ago....
Track 14 is a new bonus addition to this collection. Friend and Emmy award winning percussionist Kyle Jones reminded of a mix that I had done in 2009 of Let Us Go To Bethlehem featuring his middle eastern percussion expertise. I had forgotten this mix - so now we can all enjoy it as it also features Pedro Eustache (duduk flute) and Nina Landis (vocal).
The last piece is me singing with our two daughters Alicia and Olivia back when they were kids. Hope you enjoy the 2 versions of Silent Night, one of which is live..
God bless and Merry Christmas...."
