Released September 22nd, 1998 on Metal Blade Records, At the End of the Day is the fifth studio album from heavy metal band, Galactic Cowboys. Multiple reviewers found that the album contained subtle references to Christianity, but provided plenty of subtext to interpret meanings with.
Tracks 4-10 comprise "The Machine Fish Suite" according to the tray card. Produced by the band's drummer Alan Doss, who does lead vocals on the song "Through.
The cover art appears to be a parody of the Derek Riggs piece that Iron Maiden used for the cover of their album "Somewhere In Time" due to the many references to previous Galactic Cowboys works & GC "in-jokes", as well as use of song titles in marquees.
The Japanese version of this album contained the song "The Things They Couldn't Say", which was recorded in 1994, with lead vocals by then guitarist Dane Sonnier.
There are different versions of the cover art. One with the album title and one without.
Music video was made for the song "Nothing to Say".
Produced, engineered and recorded by Alan Doss.
Recorded at Sunflower Studios, Houston, Texas, march -- June 1998.
Drums recorded by Ryan Birsinger.
"It's Not Over" produced and recorded by Alan Doss and Brian Garcia.
Mixed by Alan Doss at Sunflower Studios.
