Album Info
"Some albums are made to entertain. Others are made because the artist has something they simply have to say. Zahna's Break Or Breakthrough very firmly belongs in the second category. Arriving September 4 via XOVR Records, the label founded by Korn's Brian "Head" Welch, this is a record forged in adversity, but crucially, it is not an album that simply wallows in it.
Zahna has already lived through enough to fill several lifetimes. A genetic kidney disease led to kidney failure at just 20, followed by a life-saving transplant from her mother. That experience became the emotional foundation of 2023's Stronger Than Death, and now Break Or Breakthrough takes the story considerably further.
Produced and mixed by Kellen McGregor of Memphis May Fire, with Cory Brunnemann of Through Arteries contributing co-writing and associate production, the result is an album that feels enormous without losing its human core."
