Finally Awake
Album Info
Finally Awake is the fifth studio album released by Christian rock band Seventh Day Slumber. It was released on March 20, 2007 under Tooth & Nail Records. Finally Awake reached its peak on the Top Christian Albums chart at No. 16 in 2007
When Joseph Rojas was asked about the meaning behind Finally Awake, he responded: "The message of this album is clear. We want to empower kids to stop looking to the media, to what the world tells them they have to be, to find identity. You don't have to be what everyone else tells you to. Be what you were created to be."
Seventh Day Slumber recorded their third BEC Recordings release, Finally Awake, with Paul Ebersold (3 Doors Down, Saliva, Skillet, Third Day) in Mephis TN. The album is a double edge sword full of energy for fans of the band's heavy music, but also contains moving ballads for those who loved "Caroline" and "Oceans From the Rain." The first single, "Missing Pages" is already a hit at radio.
The Special Edition includes 5 acoustic tracks, 1 new bonus song, the complete collection of videos from the band including the new video for "Awake," a "Making Of" video and more!
