Album Info
Released in 2025 on Rex Scott's own independent label, this is the band's fourth full-length album.
"The story of this record is one of endurance, patience, and staying true to musical roots. Work on 'Goin' Out With A Bang' officially began in the previous decade. The band hinted for years that something was coming, but, as with all great things, it had to wait for the right moment. In interviews, founder and guitarist Greg Bishop and vocalist Rex Scott have said they wanted this record to be more than another entry in their discography, a statement. "We wanted to close a chapter with impact," recalls Scott in his Bonavox interview. "We weren't interested in cashing in — only in music that truly means something."
"The new album is more than a collection of songs, it's a concept, a manifesto, and a return to the roots. "We wanted to remind people where we come from — but also show we're not standing still," says Bishop. The material took years to perfect, early riffs and lyric sketches date back to 2011, but the band refined every detail with care. The result? A record that fuses the raw energy of their debut with the maturity of seasoned musicians."
"The title suggests a conclusion — "Goin' Out With A Bang" — but is it goodbye? The band stays ambiguous. "We never say never. This album closes a chapter, but who knows what's next?" smiles Scott. In music as in life, nothing's certain, except that passion never ages. Once again, X-Sinner prove that rock knows no expiration date."
