"Influence" breathes vibrance into the Everything In Slow Motion catalog. The project from EISM was meticulously recorded over the course of two years, partially at the historic Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, IA, and engineered by Nate Washburn (My Epic, Household, Listener).
While their most recent EP "Laid Low" was an elegant shift into more relaxed melodies and immersive vibes, the LP "Influence" brings a sea change to the band's body of work. "Influence" is absolutely recognizable EISM, charged with the excitement of pure rock adrenaline. Everything In Slow Motion is the ever-evolving, hard rock-meets-post-hardcore project of Shane Ochsner, a North Dakota native. After releasing the debut EP "Red," followed by the full-length "Phoenix," and most recent EP "Laid Low," all of which were a sonic departure from his previous project and metal band Hands, Ochsner felt it was time again for a change. And for their latest full-length, "Influence," the band tracked the album at the Surf Ballroom where Buddy Holly played his final show.
