"The other day, my wife hit me with something profound: "You didn't choose music; it chose you." While many grow up dreaming of a life in music, my dreams were all about skateboarding—leaping down stairs and grinding on concrete ledges. But when that chapter closed, music unexpectedly filled the void. It started as a hobby, a bit of fun, then quickly spiraled into something deeper, almost an obsession. Whenever someone asks if I felt called to this path, the answer is a resounding yes. I feel like God reached out to me, guiding me to spread the Gospel through Heavy Rock and rap. I've come to believe that God has a knack for picking the most unexpected people to achieve remarkable things. Now, as I stand at the threshold of releasing my 15th album, it feels like I'm just getting warmed up. My hope is that these songs can either be a beacon of light pulling someone out of darkness or simply ignite a fire within you to keep moving forward."

Making music, for me, goes beyond crafting catchy guitar riffs, compelling lyrics, or melodies that linger in your mind—though these elements are crucial, or else my songs might never reach your ears. My true aim has always been to write music that offers hope, reflecting my journey of how Jesus brought light into my darkest moments. While the sound and style of my music may evolve, my mission remains unwavering, a constant for more than two decades.
The title of this album, "Learning How to Be Human," captures my ongoing growth and steadfast commitment to my calling. It's a reminder that, though I'm still learning, I remain dedicated to the purpose set before me from the start."
