Circle of One's newest E.P., Shatter the Individual, speaks of the humility required to change and progress. With its roots firmly planted in progressive rock, the band has taken a risk and strayed far from home, deciding instead to pursue a fresh mixture of rap, hard rock, metal, and electronic synthesizers. Tearing everything down and rebuilding always presents a challenge. However, for Circle of One, accepting that challenge resulted in a new sound that is driving, hard-hitting, and relevant. For a Christian band, the willingness to change and adapt sends an important message to its listeners: Be bold enough to shatter your limits and let God rebuild you.
