Birmingham's Embers In Ashes exploded into the music scene in Late 2009 with a powerful stadium-sized rock sound and an unprecedented momentum. The passionate vocals of Jeremy Bates (Hueytown, AL), with chest-pounding support from bass guitarist Rod Thomas (Mobile, AL) and brilliant dynamics, courtesy of drummer Josh Maughon (Hueytown, AL), topped with soaring melodies from guitarist Mike Toby, (Huntsville, AL) and epic riffs from guitarist Drew Duvall (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), leaves their audience hungry for more and inspired to take on the highs and lows of life.
Embers In Ashes continues on a vigorous tour schedule of the southeast. They live for the opportunity to build relationships with fans, and believe that meeting people where they are is the best way to be a positive influence on them. Mike Toby says, "I got a letter from a girl saying 'Your music is awesome and moving and just helped me make it through a crisis...' THAT is what this is about, reaching out to people." Each member of Embers In Ashes has their own unique story of redemption, but that commonality is what unites its members. "Our music isn't about religion, it's about relationships and redemption..." says Jeremy Bates.
