If ever there was a band that should be coined the greatest supergroup you've never heard, it would definitely be The Ironside Collective. With a revolving door of members coming and going, they can boast musicians who have played with everyone from The Halo Method, Stavesacre, Echocast, Stairwell, In This Moment, and Living Sacrifice to Kelly Clarkson, Paramore, and more. If that resume doesn't prompt you to take a listen, then there's probably nothing we can do to save you.
Musically, The Ironside Collective builds on the best elements of their contemporaries to bring listeners a unique sonic experience incorporating thought-provoking lyrics and tumultuous, wall-of-sound riffing. Let's just say they could hold their own on a stage playing before or after Quicksand, Far, Stavesacre, Deftones, Helmet, or any other rock band that likes to mix heaviness and groove with hooks and melody.
