It's been a number of years since heavy metal band Impellitteri had been in the public spotlight, since their full-length release The Nature Of The Beast in 2018.
After six years the wait is now over as the group released of their full length album War Machine via Frontiers Music Srl. The lineup includes founding members, guitar legend Chris Impellitteri and vocalist Rob Rock, long-time bassist James Amelio Pulli, and the newest recruit Paul Bostaph on drums (Slayer, Exodus, Kerry King).

This album flat out smokes!!! I am always excited when Impellitteri releases an album and am never disappointed, well... as long as Rob Rock is on vocals anyway. War Machine is no exception, this album rocks from start to finish. Like fine wine, the boys get better with age. This album has it all, soaring vocals, pounding bass and drums, shredding guitars, and a top notch production. I am not sure what my favorite tune it. I have been listening to it from start to finish with no thought of fast forwarding any song. If you are in to fast rockin', guitar screamin'... ok, if you love heavy metal, great heavy metal... then this is right up your alley.
