Warrior Inside

"We all have personal struggles. Whether it be addictions, family problems, past choices that we let haunt us, etc. We can struggle with anything. For me, it was all the above, plus some. Life always has struggles, but I was at the point where everyday was war. War with the people in my life, war with the addictions I found myself in, war with the choices I was making and knowing that I did not want to be making those choices. Every, single, day, life was finding some way to make me shut down and numb out. Know the feeling or something similar?
During the midst of this time in life I began writing the song "Warrior Inside". The words in the song represent what I needed to get out. In the lyrics I am telling my addictions I am a fighter, telling my past choices to stay in the past, and most importantly telling God it's time to change what's inside. "I'm alive, A Revolution Lies Inside" Even to this day God is changing my heart, making me more alive by the moment. Have all my problems gone away? No. They never will here (earth). But I'm a fighter.
So what ever you are going through, what ever hurts, you can make it through. We will fall. But we will always get back up because inside, we are Warriors.
