There are times in life when we stop and think about how we got to where we are. Especially in times of conflict or when everything seems to be going against us, we wonder if anyone else is going through the same thing.
In Devin's CD, Where Do I Begin, one of the first things you will realize is that you are not alone. In fact, your current problems are experiences that all of us share to one degree or another. For example in the featured song, "Alright", Devin reminds us that while we may feel everything is going wrong in our lives or in the world, there is a God that we can count on. No matter where our lives may lead us, if we look to him, he is always with us when others may not be.
Sometimes this is hard for people to believe. Many people feel that God just left us here alone on the earth to deal with the problems. But it is at times like these, as Devin talks about in "Where Have You Gone", that we have to find reality in our emotion. We need to find what is real versus what we may think may be happening.
What do you do when you find the answer? In the song, "Standing So Close", the question is raised, once you find God and realize he has never left you and has always been there, where do you begin to convince others of the good thing you've found?
Regardless of where you are in this journey of life, the decisions you make and how you view the world is yours. God will always be there.
