Zedekiah, Hezekiah, Jeroboam & Other Guys

Released in early November 2024, Zedekiah, Hezekiah, Jeroboam & Other Guys featured parodies of The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Cars, Foo Fighters, Andrew Gold, Golden Earring, Eddie Money, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Rush, The Troggs, and ZZ Top.
Sounds like a law firm doesn't it? Zedekiah, Hezekiah, Jeroboam & Other Guys. But only one of the people named on that list cared about God's law, even though all three of them ruled over God's people at one time or another.
We gave our 75th LP the royal treatment, filling it with parodies about numerous kings: David, Solomon, Rehoboam, Jeroboam, Hezekiah, Sennacherib, Jehoiakim, Zedekiah, and Nebuchadnezzar ... and the Queen of Sheba. They're names any Bible believer should know, but unless you're also a Bible reader, you've probably only heard of half of them, and you may have trouble coming up with details about any of them besides David and Solomon.
Some of those monarchs were righteous, some were wicked, and some were a mixed bag, but none were perfect, which is why we wrap things up on this album with a song about one King to rule them all. That's how God says He'll wrap things up at the end of the age, too. In the meantime, we echo the sentiments of the opening track and pray that He'll let the good guys rule.
