In 1985 the band appeared at Cornerstone and released a second album entitled Search & Destroy. It was originally released on Patmos Records on vinyl and cassette only. Its lyrics were controversial as well, as the release tackled social issues such as child abuse, drug abuse and runaways through the eyes of a character named Bobby. One reviewer called the result an "overly serious tone and melodramatic feel." Brian Clark responded to the bands critics, stating that "Bobby is part and parcel of all these American tragedies, and Jesus is shown to be real and relevant."
Fast forward to 2019 and Roxx Records has re-issued the album. Philadelphia is: Brian Clark (bass and vocals), Brian Martini (drums), Phil Scholling (guitars), and Ronn Flowers (guitars). James A. Griffin produces, while Bill Bafford executive produces.

Search & Destroy is a must have album for fans of Christian hard rock and metal. It simply tells the story of a young guy who is troubled, going through life. He is caught in spiritual warfare. Satan tells him he's worth nothing and seeks the destruction of his soul. God calls out to him telling him he's of great value and is perfectly loved and can have eternal life through Christ.
