Sheep Among Wolves

Released December 5, 2017 independently via crowd funding, this is the band's tenth album and their 20th anniversary project. The Pledge Music campaign for the 10th LP kicked off a year and a half ago, and since that time, backers have been treated to an excellent covers EP as well as sneak peeks of the entire track listing along the way.
The Album is lean, mean, and diverse as ever. Hammering tracks such as "MHS" and "Dead Man's Switch" promise to please the die hard P86 faithful, while moodier tracks such as "Freebooter," "Copper Wish" and "Metempsychosis" are emotive and haunting. The lyrics, while as contemplative as ever, address some of the most poignant issues of our time, to the spiritual division in our nation to transgenderism to mental health.
"We would like to think we have always had our own sound. We don't exactly fit with anything else out there because we have never tried to... we just want to write songs that heavy music fans can turn up loud and scream along to at our shows," Schwab states.
