New Wine

In 2008 they followed up their debut release with a bang, releasing "New Wine", which has been a critically acclaimed as one of the most cutting edge progressive hard rock albums. It was awarded RadioIndy's esteemed GrIndie award and earned them a spot in HM magazines "Pick of the litter".
"New Wine" is about new beginnings; letting go of all the crap in your past and starting over with a clean slate. A theme no doubt inspired by the new life that has been breathed into the band as of late.
A few personnel changes in the midst of trying to write and record the record proved challenging. But this state of uncertainty about Realign's future only strengthened the resolve of founding members Brandon Jamison, Ryan Jamison, and Michael Dotson
Their commitment to hard work and excellence has been the cornerstone of Realign's success. With their previous record, and extensive touring they set in place a strong foundation. Realign's reputation for an intense, and captivating live show has landed them on the stage with many major label acts such as Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, Day of Fire, and Red.
The goal with "New Wine" was to expand on this foundation. In an effort to take Their songwriting to the next level, Realign sought out Billboard charting producer Jeremy Luzier. This collaboration yielded a new, edgier Realign sound with more depth lyrically and musically: an aggressive hardcore edge with an alternative touch that speaks a message of hope in the midst of pain and suffering. The record released independently in Spring '08.
Despite all the changing that had taken place in Realign, the main goal remained the same: to connect with people on a real, personal level and bring a message of hope into the lives of the hurting and suffering.
