The Evening Hate - EP was released late 2019.
The 5-track EP features the lead single and title song featured on SiriusXM Octane, Loudwire, hardDrive with Lou Brutus, hardDrive XL, New Metal Tracks (Spotify), Music Choice, as well as follow-up single, "From The Ashes". The EP also includes the band's latest cover song, its take on Fuel's No. 1 hit song "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)." "We all love music and are old enough to have some pretty big favorites over the years, but when Anthony Armstrong, RED guitarist, suggested 'Hemorrhage,' we all agreed and loved the song," shares RED vocalist Michael Barnes. "It actually came together rather quickly and as an added bonus we were able to work with the original producer of the song on our version!"
Mixed by Ben Grosse, known for mixing RED's albums as well as working with Fuel, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Alter Bridge and many others. The new track joins the eclectic collection of songs RED has covered both live and in the studio from as far back as Duran Duran's "Ordinary World", featured on the 10-year anniversary of the GRAMMY-nominated album Innocence & Instinct, to "Unstoppable" (originally by Sia) on its previous album GONE.
