This is the band's one and only release. It is actually not officially released but is included as a free download with the purchase of Deny The Fallen's debut album "Symptoms Of Eternity" (available at Dunamis Records).
"The songs on the Zeal album represented several years of my life. It is a very strong record both musically and lyrically. I think it's great that people are enjoying it! When I made the decision to release it, all moved very fast and I didn't get a chance to say some thank you's and give some appropriate credit. Erik Kyr (Deny The Fallen bassist) also played in Zeal. Along with the incredible drummer Richard Allan. The original Zeal vocalist Rich Wilkins appears on the song "Loner" which he co-wrote with me. Rey Parra also makes an appearance on that song. Brett Hestla (Bassist for Creed, vocalist for Dark New Day, vocalist for Virgos Merlot) played bass and sang back ups on the song "Resurrection Day". And Billy Keaton (vocalist for Skrape, vocalist for Audiotopsy) sang back ups on "Falter". Also I wanted to say a very special thank you to Steve Watkins and Gathering Storm Media for doing an absolutely amazing job mastering that album! As most of you know Steve is the bassist for Sacred Warrior. He did a stellar job repairing sound issues and mastering the Zeal album. I hope many more people get to enjoy this album for years to come! I love all the feedback.. God bless you all!" ~ John Johnson
