Most fans remember Greg from his early days with the thrash metal band The Crucified who maintained a loyal underground following as they played to sold-out crowds on their own and as openers for punk legends such as D.R.I and GBH as well as metal legends Pantera. They later become a huge influence on a young unknown band at the time called P.O.D. During his time with The Crucified, Greg found time to record two solo projects under the names Applehead and Minier. After The Crucified, Greg formed the L.A. based band Sweet Mary, who eventually secured a production deal with Guns 'n' Roses drummer Matt Sorum.
