Cry Mercy

Cry Mercy was a Sydney band whose style embraced both a contemporary heavy rock sound and Cowboys From Hell-like groove metal. The band formed in 1992 and were featured on the first Australian Metal Compilation CD that Rowe Productions released in 1994. The band included Walter Harnisch on vocals, Dean Jackson on guitar, Oscar Rebolledo on bass, and Ian Dryland on drums. Their self-titled debute album was released on Rowe Productions in 1996. Following the album release Jackson departed and the band ended soon after.
