"I started with metal music in my teen years with a group of friends that also were into metal. They liked the hardcore and punk style metal and so we would listen to it all the time when we were in the car going somewhere. I began to develop my interest in metal from that experience. I play guitar. Another friend played the drums and another was learning bass. One other guy was into vocals and so we decided to start a band called "Broken Chains". We were together for about a year and never had a show or even have a song to show for all that time. During that time we had experienced the lack of our vocalist. He could never make much of the practices so i would end up filling in the best I could so we could play songs from Demon Hunter, Project 86 (DBL era), and Haste The Day (Jimmy era). I began to develop a good scream and began to write some songs for the band. Over the coarse of a month or so I was no longer part of the band due to some issues. From then I continued to write songs for an album I wanted to do that would incorporate a wide selection of style songs. It was going to be a CD with 15 songs and it was called "Chris Walton: Devil Accuser". After a long process I decided to scratch all the songs except the metal ones and ended up with a five song CD. It was all recorded with the microphone from a webcam and into the microphone input on my laptop. Thus began the journey of Devil Accuser.
A little funny fact. I only ever sold one of the first CDs and guess who it was to? The drummer from my old band."
