Efrata

Efrata is a progressive heavy metal band, started in June 2006 by guitarist André Machado and drummer Ge, who through testing added Lincoln Dutra on bass, Rodrigo Godoy as lead singer and Ricardo Augusto for keyboards. From then on, the band quickly began to gain notice in the Curitiba scene and, after recording the demo track "Led by the Spirit", began to travel to other Brazilian cities.
After recording four tracks, which were well accepted by the public, and some changes of members (at that time added Leandro Soares, on the bass), the singer Rodrigo began to feel problems in his vocal chords, which interrupted the activity for the time being of the band. However, in 2011, following public insistence on social networks, and a surprising recovery from Rodrigo's voice, the band decided to get back on track, playing important shows with legendary bands like Stauros, Germán Pascual and Petra, and even in neighboring countries. The following year, Efrata continued making many trips to major shows and getting more audiences by signing a contract with Conspiracy Records for the album "Something Powerful Inside", recorded and produced at the excellent Silent Music Studio (Karim Serri) and due for release for 2013, from which comes out the single "Words Of The Wise", which has been critically acclaimed.
