Eternal Decision

Country: United States of America
Genre: Heavy Metal/Thrash Metal

Eternal Decision first formed in 1992. For several years they performed shows in the regional Oklahoma City area and recorded a few 3-4 song demos. Finally in 1996 they recorded their first full length Self-Titled album, released on their own independent Godfather Records label. This CD was released in over 16 different countries. In 1999 their second album titled "Ghost in the Machine," was released. A couple of songs from this album made it to the top 5 of the Progressive Airplay Journal. They released their third album, E.D. III in 2002 with the original lineup.
Mainly due to the similarities in vocal style, the group is often mistaken for Metallica. Prior to the release of Metallica's 2008 album Death Magnetic, many Ares Galaxy and Limewire users downloaded mislabeled Eternal Decision songs, one such example of this being "Imminent Destruction", which was frequently labeled as All Nightmare Long. The song "Hunger" from the band's self-titled debut album also received many downloads on Napster due to the fact that many people believed it to be a new unreleased Metallica song or a collaboration between Megadeth and Metallica
