Formed in 2005 from members of successful regional acts, Even The Dogs set out to create a unique style of soaring melodies and intense, soul-shaking rhythms that was all their own. Word quickly spread that Even the Dogs was THE band to see live, and their high energy, audience-engaging performance style had crowds quickly filling up venues. In an era in which metal has become a sea of sound alike, look alike bands, Even the Dogs is winning over the masses by daring to be different.
Even the Dogs was forged from the fires of successful regional touring acts, joined by one mission... to create beautifully intense metal music coupled with an interactive live experience. Pulling from a vast array of influences, including today's modern metal, with bands like Killswitch Engage, Rise Against, Sevendust, Periphery, Five Finger Death Punch, In Flames, and Scar Symmetry...and yesterday's classic sounds, like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Dokken, Whitesnake, and Judas Priest. Their unique blend of crushing riffs, melodic choruses, and anthemic lyrics, have made Even the Dogs a force to be reckoned with in the metal scene. After having signed with Driven Music Group in 2010, and their full length debut, "Soulshaker" being released worldwide, and music video "Shut Your Mouth" being put in to light rotation on MTV's Headbanger's Ball, Even the Dogs seemingly had the world by the tail. Out on tour and fronting such acts as Buckcherry, Texas Hippie Coalition, Drowning Pool, Ice Nine Kills, Powerman 5000, Demon Hunter, Disciple, and the list goes on... they're long time guitarist and co-founding members departed the band for personal reasons. Instead of giving up... Even the Dogs went through a transformation.... completely changing their sound, look, and winning throngs of metal hungry fans.
