Images Of Eden
Country: United States of America
Genre: Heavy Metal/Progressive Metal
Images of Eden is a melodic, modern hard rock project that offers something very original and new to the modern rock/ metal scene. With influences ranging from modern hard rock bands such as Disturbed, Mudvayne, Alter Bridge and Sevendust to classic traditional and progressive metal; Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Queensrÿche, Black Sabbath etc., the hybrid of sound produced is very unique. The sound is more of a low-end, chunk, 7-string guitar, with a vocal hybrid (modern with a hint of old school) and positive, inspirational, true to life lyrics.
The concept of Images of Eden began in fall of 1998 when founder, vocalist, Gordon Tittsworth, parted ways with his previous band after dealing with a major lack of motivation and creativity from other members. Gordon decided that it was time to bring his vision to life without having it diluted or compromised; a "solo artist" underneath a band name, so to speak. In September 1999, he went into the studio with only a session drummer to record the debut Images of Eden CD (later to be known as "Chapter-I") with engineer Bill Dickson. The goal was to fully produce an original, unique CD, playing all of the instruments (except drums). The final product would then be used to carefully select musicians to fulfill the Images of Eden lineup
