KJ-52

Country: United States of America
Genre: Alternative Rock/Rap Rock

Jonah Kirsten Sorrentino. "KJ" refers to his old rap alias, "King J. Mac," a name which he later described in one of his podcasts as "horribly cheesy." "52", which is pronounced "five two", not "fifty-two", is a reference to the Biblical story of Jesus feeding the multitude with five loaves and two fish. KJ has collaborated with several peers on his albums including Ill Harmonics, Pillar, John Reuben and Thousand Foot Krutch. His song written to Eminem ("Dear Slim") was taken wrong, outside of KJ's original intentions, thus erupting a small controversy. Hate mail and a spot on VH1's "Top 40 Worst Moments in Hip Hop" forced KJ to write a follow up song, "Dear Slim Pt 2." Despite his rocky road, KJ has pressed on with his head held high.
