Light Force

Light Force was an Australian Christian metal band which was formed in 1987 by mainstay Steve Rowe on bass guitar and vocals. The band was considered to be one of the pioneering Christian extreme metal acts. Their album "Mystical Thieves" was issued on the American Christian label Pure Metal and they opened for Stryper in 1989. In 1990, the band split up with Rowe and Jason Sherlock forming Mortification. Members were Steve Rowe - bass, Errol Willenberg - drums, Murray Adams - guitars, and Steve Johnson - vocals.
