Lovewar

Lovewar started in the fall of '88 and consisted of Tim Bushong on guitar and a friend on bass and drum machine. They recorded a 6 song demo and sent it out to some underground Christian magazines. That in turn got some interest from an old friend who asked if he could send it to some people. He sent it to the Elefante brothers out in L.A. so they flew out there and met them. They ended up signing with them. Once signed, Tim, along with a full time drummer and bass player recorded Soak Your Brain. A concoction of chunky, tight guitar, low end boom and big drums. It was a huge success in the Christian rock and metal world. They played everywhere they could.
Soak Your Brain ranked 47/100 in the Heaven's Metal Top 100 Christian Rock Albums of All Time.
Members were: Tim Bushong (lead vocals, guitar), Greg Purlee (drums, backing vocals) and Rick Armstrong (bass, backing vocals)
