Mad At The World

Country: United States of America
Genre: Alternative Rock
For Fans Of: Danzig

Mad at the World was a Christian rock band active from 1987 to 1998 in Southern California. It originally consisted of brothers Roger and Randy Rose with Mike Pendleton, later joined by Brent Gordon. Pendleton and Gordon left the band in 1992 and were replaced by Mike Link and Ben Jacobs. The band produced seven studio albums, one compilation package and two double reissues of previous albums.
Formed in 1987 by brothers Roger and Randy Rose, few Christian bands have enjoyed the longevity and underground critical acclaim as Mad at the World. From the day that mailman and lead singer Roger Rose stuck a tape in a record company executive's mailbox until current times, Mad at the World has turned heads with their provocative music. Lyrically, the band delves into the many struggles we face in life and reminds us of our hope in our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Issues dealt with in the songs include drugs, anger, hopelessness, and lost loves; as well as hope, love, peace, forgiveness, blessed relationships, and eternal life.
