Despite the name, Memphis May Fire are not from Tennessee, but rather Dallas, Texas, where everything is bigger and bolder. Unsurprisingly, the band's musical output is extremely difficult to classify, having siphoned from the very best of its various post-hardcore / southern rock influencers to create something wholly unique; the result of which presents an unparalleled blend of elegance & aggression that can only be defined as Memphis May Fire. Nothing more, nothing less. No trends. No excess. Simply a group of individuals that stand in defiance of all things mundane.
