Nenel Lucena is a Brazilian guitarist who works as a Teacher, Sideman, and Music Producer. Now working with: Santo Angelo Cables, Fuhrmann pedals, Borne Amplifier and Basso Straps.
For Nenel, everything started early, he grew up in a musical environment and with self-interest, at 5 years of age he demonstrated his gift of music by playing the drums. And it was at age 15 that he received his first guitar.
Soon after, he joined his first band, Plenitud, which performed some shows in several cities of the state of Pernambuco. In 2005 the band won the Pre-March Contest and makes its biggest participation in the then renowned March for Jesus in Recife. After some time, the band went through a reformation of members and changed their name to Throne.
After several years as a self-taught guitarist, Nenel begins to study at the Professional Center of Musical Creativity of Recife, studying with renowned guitarist Pernambuco Breno Lira (Treminhão).
In his musical career as a professional guitarist, Nenel Lucena is also known for performing at renowned Brazilian music shows where he excelled in his participation with Singer Lopes, Eliah Oliver (Ex-Khorus) and Ministering Workshops together with Brazilian guitarists like Luciano Magno, Fred Andrade, Antônio Araðjo, Junior Xanfer, Téo Dornellas, Cauê Cury and Nelson da Hora.
Nenel continues to integrate the band Throne (Progressive) and Evocati (Heavy Metal), as well as continuing to teach Workshops where he presents some songs from his solo CD, with contributions such as Felipe Andreoli (Angra), Antônio Araðjo (Korzus), Ozielzinho and other great musicians. He still acts as a Music Producer, recording and producing artists and bands in his studio, teaches private lessons and is Free Lancer.
