Rainbow Promise was a Christian psychedelic rock band with strong country rock accents. The band was formed in 1972 and released an album "Rainbow Promise" on the small New Wine label. The band members were: Steve Powell (vocals and rhythm guitar), Richard Slaton (acoustic guitar), Dennis Jones (drums), Ric Bowers (lead guitar) and Leonard Brannon (bass guitar).
