"On us who live in the dark shadow of death this light will shine to guide us into a life of peace." (Luke 1:79)
Random Hero is billed nationally as a positive message active rock band from Denver, CO. But, truthfully, they are so much more than that. For eight years, Random Hero has built a ministry through music. The bands foundation is firmly rooted in faith, and as such, each member has dedicated themselves to bringing a clear message of hope, without being preachy or churchy, to those who otherwise may not hear it.
Starting in the Summer of 2012, Random Hero hit the Billboard National Christian Rock Charts as few unsigned bands ever get the chance to do. Their single "Breakdown" debuted at #28 and in just a few short weeks, found its way into the top ten. Breakdown peaked at #4 and remained on the charts for six months...Most of that time spent in the top 10. The single continued to remain comfortably in the top 10 on the recurrent charts for another 5 months. The band"s second single from the Breakdown EP, "Freak Show", also charted in the top 25. Random Hero"s latest single "Mercy" entered the charts in mid August of 2013 and quickly found itself resting at #4 on the Billboard Christian Rock Charts.
Random Hero has released three EP projects. To date, the band has sold thousands of copies and in fact, just sold out of their most recent EP project "Breakdown EP" which was produced by Ben Kasica of the band Skillet.
The band released their first full-length album in late July of 2013. The self-produced project titled "Carry Me, Bury Me" featured twelve new songs, including some of the most popular songs Random Hero performs during their live set. In the first 45 days, "Cary Me, Bury Me" sold more physical copies than any other Random Hero project. To date, the band has sold not only thousands of hard copies, but has also broken records in digital sales.
In November of 2013, Random Hero signed a contract with Red Cord Records (In Association with Sony & Victory). The band spent a month at the RCR studio in Chicago starting February 2014 to record their label debut called "Oceans of Change". The bands latest album "Oceans of Change" released in mid August of this year, and has already surpassed the previous albums in sales. The first single off the album "Burn Up The Night" debuted on both mainstream and Christian radio and is expected to work it way far up the charts. In September of 2014, Pando Records (In Association with ADA/Warner Music) purchased the Random Hero contract.
Random Hero has performed on main stages and premium stages at the country"s top festivals both Christian and secular for the past eight years. The band has performed multiple times on the Vans Warped Tour, for portions of the ESPN Winter X-Games, AMA Motocross, and Go Fast Extreme Games. For 2014, the band has had their busiest schedule to date with over 100 shows. Random Hero completed a national US Tour in May, and they continued into the very busy festival season from June through September. The band is slated for multiple national tours from January through May of 2015 and will once again perform on the Summer Christian Festival Circuit.
