Randy R. Ellison

Randy Ellison is passionately devoted to providing inspired, encouraging music that empowers the soul.
Randy originally became interested in music and the guitar in the 80's' but it wasn't until the 90's when he finally started playing guitar. As he continued to learn and mature as a guitarist he drew from a myriad of influences including Carlos Santana, Joe Satriani, Prince, The Edge, Steve Vai, Jimi Hendrix and many others. However, one of the biggest impacts on his guitar playing comes from playing in church.
As a guitarist and former band leader at his church, Randy honed his skills and developed his true voice. Through that ministry he has been challenged to move from differing styles and genres all the while creating an encounter that truly reaches people. As a guitarist there he has had the opportunity to play with or accompany artist like Ron Kenoly, Kelly Price, Darlene Zschech and Hillsong. Recently he also had the opportunity to play with the Detroit Combined band to minister at The Call 11/11/11 Event at Ford Field in front of over 25,000 people. As a front man and leader of his own band he has wrote and performed songs and opened for artist like Lakita Garth, ApologetiX and Switchfoot.
