Robyn Kyle formed the hard blues-rock band Red Sea after the demise of Die Happy, where he sang as Robyn Basauri. Chris Howell was formerly lead guitarist for Fear Not, and Greg Chaisson of Die Happy and Badlands played bass on Red Sea's only album. Kyle described Red Sea's music as "'70's based rock with kind of a '90's edge," likening the groove of many songs to Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, or Bad Company.
