Regardless Of Consequence

Hailing from Newark, Ohio, Regardless Of Consequence was formed when vocalist Donny Romine came to a newly saved Brandon Mitchell in April of 2012 with the idea of putting together a band unlike anything in today's metal scene. Donny comments, "I knew this wasn't something I wanted to just jump right into. Things needed to fall into place. As if they were put there by God." Enter Tommy Romine (nephew of Donny Romine). Tommy (known as the rapper D-Toxx) had been active in the Ohio rap scene for quite sometime and was instantly asked by both guys use his skills for Christ. Shortly after getting together, the band began writing and recording an EP at Vero Studios with producer Logan Williams. Logan played drums on 3 songs while the band still remained without a drummer.
After considering a few drummers, Tommy suggested Tyler McDowell (formerly of Goatmill). They then began recording a full length for the remainder of 2012 and into summer of 2013. In 2013, the band was in search of a bassist that would not only be able to play the material that they had recorded live but was also a devout Christian.
After a few unsuccessful bass players, Mat Iden got the job. The band's sound blends rap, groove metal, rock, and thrash and together make the sound of R.O.C.
Commenting on the band's name, Romine says, "The name "Regardless of Consequence" stems from various passages in the bible. And its a meaning that any believer in Christ can live by. Essentially it means, that no matter what people think of me, no matter what I have to endure, I will live my life for Christ and make it into the gates of Heaven, regardless of consequence."
