Sardonyx

Sardonyx is one of the music ministries of LightShine International Ministries. They are missionaries to the metal culture. They met each other in March of 1988. It wasn't until 1990 that they chose the name Sardonyx. LightShine Ministries began in 1990 as the follow up ministry for the band. When the band stopped doing live shows in 1994, LightShine focused on helping missionaries in Alaska while creating the progressive rock theatrical production called "The Scream of the Guillotine" which was released in 2001.
