Stria

STRIA was formed during the latter part of 2007. Common goals and a love of music propelled them to start writing together and playing shows across central Florida. After releasing the convincingly nu-metal album "Chimera" in 2009, the emphasis of STRIA shifted greatly. Acquiring Douglas Apolinario on drums and Dan Sneigoski on guitar, the band began to explore new musical techniques. They evolved their sound, mixing electronic, techno and club elements with hard rock riffs and vocals. The integration of technology with their brand of aggressive rock became the face of a new STRIA, departing from the nu-metal, rap-core sounds of Chimera and pursuing mainstream and radio appeal.
