Tempernoi

Country: United States of America
Genre: Alternative Metal

Tempernoi was formed in the summer of 1999 by Chris and Nate as HandCrafted. They got together frequently to write material and to jam. A few months later they invited a friend to play bass. Things fell apart with the bassist, but Chris and Nate kept at it. Later that year they met Chad at a church worship practice and immediately they clicked. Chad quit his band to play with Handcrafted. Soon after, Jonathan Cruz was invited to sing with them. They stuck together for about 2 years, playing countless numbers of live shows. After a while, things got a little more serious and it didn't work out with Jon on account of creative differences, so Jon left the band. A few months later, they stumbled upon Daniel at a coffee shop as he was performing. They had interest, so they asked him to join. He played a couple of shows with them and they complimented each other. Shortly after he joined they decided to record a demo. The band changed their name to Tempernoi in 2004. Shortly thereafter, they released their first full-length album entitled "Between Thieves" as well as a full production Music video in May of 2005. Then once more with the release of their first E.P. in the summer of 2007 entitled "The Concept". Tempernoi shares it lyrical themes of anger, disaffection, and discontentment with most of its musical peers, which isn't unique to its cult. The seething anger and preoccupation with pain and dis-contentment is valid because it is componential to Tempernoi's uniquely branded blend of melodic metal. Tempernoi exists to put another twist on what we all view as music, and it's not much of a science beyond that.
