Thunderchild

Thunderchild is a Christian heavy metal band out of Arlington, Texas. The band was formerly known as R.O.C.K. (Revolution Of Christian Knights). R.O.C.K. was formed in 1987 by vocalist/guitarist Tony Larussa and guitarist Fred Garza. They began as a four-piece band with Ken Kelly (bass) and Barry Zeller (drums) finishing out the rhythm section.
In 1992 R.O.C.K. would evolve to a five piece band with the addition of Mike Foster on the vocals slot and the band changed their name to Thunderchild. In 1994 Brian Larussa took over on bass.
Thunderchild has performed with many national acts through out the southern United States, performing in every type of venue both indoor and outdoor.
Their style of music is Classic Power Metal with a Progressive Melodic Edge and contains a Christ centered message of Grace, Salvation, Hope and Encouragement. Thunderchild's commitment to excellence toward their music and their expressive transparent faith has given them the ability to reach a culture with the message of Christ in a non-condemning way with many receiving Christ through their ministry.
