Wither And Bloom

Wither And Bloom is an alternative Christian metal band from the Mid-South. The band is comprised of vocalist/guitarist Jonathan Simpson, guitarist Joel Gillihan, bassist David Jacobs, and drummer Jay Cusick. Their music integrates elements from metal, hard rock, groove metal, and alternative styles.
As musicians, their upbringings range from classically trained to self-taught. From playing in the Memphis Symphony Orchestra to sharing the stage with bands like Saliva or Type O Negative, their diverse backgrounds give them a unique approach to writing music.
The band's greatest commonality is their love for Jesus. Their collective goal is to use Wither and Bloom to glorify God and move others closer to Him.
