Brainstorm Artists International
Country: United States of America
Brainstorm Artists International (B.A.I.) was an American music label founded in 1987 by Gene Eugene and Ojo Taylor. The label closed in 1997.
Located in Fullerton, B.A.I. soon became an important label in the Christian rock music scene, an alternative rock genre based on the Christian faith.
Formerly known as Broken Records before having difficulties with its distributor, Brainstorm Artists International was a label manufactured and distributed by Word, Inc. In 1994, a shakeup in the Word label resulted in Brainstorm needing a new home. They secured a deal through Diamante distributing, and to celebrate Brainstorm released a series of four compilations with album tracks and outtakes from the label's history.
