Formed in 2002 by Narnia frontman Christian Liljegren, Rivel Records supports hard rock, heavy metal, symphonic, and progressive rock music. The label was formed in December 1999 under the name C.L Music and Publishing and it was changed to Rivel Records, Sweden August 2002 when he got married and changed his last name to his wife's name Rivel.
